52 Weeks of Music

There's never any record of all the music I listen to in the car. So here goes, I'm burning my music and listening to it all this year. I have a six cd changer, so I'm hoping to listen to at least 6 cds a week.

Week 1
Synth Pop Week
Depeche Mode - Music for the Masses
Depeche Mode - 101
Waterboys - The Essential
Talk Talk - The Essential
A-Ha - Hunting High and Low

The Strokes - Is This It
The Vines - Highly Evolved
Blonde Redhead - Fake Can Be Just As Good

The music was so phenomenal this week, I stretched it out to just under three weeks, while I listened to these albums over and over.

Week 5
Sixties & Seventies week
Various Artists - The Best of British Rock
The Yardbirds - Greatest Hits
Cream - The Very Best Of
Once again, the music here was so phenomenal, I chose rather to listen to 4 cds over and again (one was a double) than listen to six different ones. I am astounded at the talent of Eric Clapton, and I know that The Yardbirds and Cream were way ahead of their time.

Fatboy Slim - Better Living Through Chemistry
Fatboy Slim - You've Come A Long Way Baby
Fatboy Slim - Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars
