It makes me willing to give the books and films another try. It is why I read HBP again after all and I enjoyed it more the second time.

@ Vanessa: I'd just listened to the audiobook again so it was fresh in my mind. It occurred to me last night how strange it was that I didn't like the film as I had LOVED all of the films before it. I think I just need to watch it again. Who knows, maybe my fatigue got in the way??!!

@ Patrick: I'm going to be a grumpy old bat and say that I didn't like the kiss either. I do have to point out though - I still want the dvd for Christmas!!!Mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11931248631361366673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1670821364008433678.post-50598392208768148602009-08-05T05:36:54.135+01:002009-08-05T05:36:54.135+01:00But what about the "kiss"But what about the "kiss"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1670821364008433678.post-88953484589799255932009-07-27T08:26:22.930+01:002009-07-27T08:26:22.930+01:00It is very interesting that you had this experienc...It is very interesting that you had this experience with this film, as I absolutely loved it - to the point that I went to watch it for a second time this past week-end.
Your reaction to this movie mirrors my own reaction to Goblet of Fire - too much left out, too much invented.

Maybe it helped that I reread the book recently, so it was fresh in my mind, so it flowed for me. I agree that the burning of the Burrow was out of place, and I was sad that the battle towards the end was left out - but the way it was done made sense for me. I also saw some interviews with the three lead stars before the movie where they said the tone of this movie is going to be lighter and focus on the relationships rather than the battles, because the last movie in two parts will be so intense.Vanessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07973754120854307377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1670821364008433678.post-41778239045369236812009-07-27T06:46:56.889+01:002009-07-27T06:46:56.889+01:00Hey, I liked this film. Instead of cutting things, they added things, I was pretty angry.

We must be completly opposite. The 6th book was my favorite and it was your least favorite, the 4th movie was your favorite and it was my least.

I too, used to never be interested in books. But because of two friends, I would have never started reading.

Cya Emm,

PizzaPeterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04059437328618692348noreply@blogger.com
